Broken actionscript and riddled with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.

Specifically, the buttons to advance the text do not work and so I have to Right Click>Play through each segment.

Otherwise, the animation was pretty good for a sprite movie. It started off very slow, but the action scenes demonstrated at least some creativity with sprites.

My only advice is that you need to play around a bit more with the camera. I understand some sprites (particularly the ones you use - Megaman, Sonic and Mario) are drawn in such a way that some shots are impossible, but you could at least zoom and scroll during the action sequences. It would really make it that much more dynamic.

I'd probably need to watch the other episodes to get an idea what this is supposed to be about, but I've got no real desire to do that. It was full of cliche.

BUTTONS WORK FOR ME

Not as good as Arfenhouse which you were clearly trying to emulate.

The dialogue was difficult to hear, and it didn't feel that funny, but I liked some of the error effects and it's nice to see an Arfenhouse inspired/parody flash movie after all these years.

minilinkki responds:

Of course it isn't! Arfenhouse is the golden example how to make good "shit".
And yes, you found out what i am trying to do. But the lack of randomess and low dialogue is caused by flash. I did fight with it over two days to get the sounds works. Maybe next time.

Anyway, thanks from the feedpack! Will try to get atleast 4/5 from you next time!

Quality animation, detailed drawings. Definitely my favourite Gangnam Style related or Animation-with-Gangnam-style-track-aw kwardly-shoehorned-in released this week.

WOOOOOOOAH SEXY LADY

Fantastic.

The best sprite animation I've seen, good use of music and brilliant direction. I hope we don't have to wait another 8-9 years for more - anything - whether it be Nintendo inspired or original.

fea-tures responds:

haha, thanks alot, I wouldnt hold my breath for a Super Duck Hunt 2 anytime soon. Im fairly sure I could throw another together in a fraction of the time with the experience Ive gained but Id like a break from the Sprites.

Truth be told, this film has been nagging for completion for so long that Ive not been able to completely focus on any other project without that nagging feeling; Im just glad to be able to have the freedom to explore other things.... for now :)

Horray...

...I remember watching the first one a while ago, and was quite impressed. When I saw this one, I was slightly dissapointed you did't improve the drawings, but the comedy and style made up for that. In fact I laughed quite hard at the main joke.

ashens responds:

Improve the drawings? Never! It wouldn't be as funny.

Brilliant...

... Little much wrong with this (except the sound levels), but I'm glad I waited for it to load up.

The graphics were pretty good, the voice acting (especially with the leprechaun) was very good, and the humour top notch.

HappyHarry responds:

cheers mate, I know the sound was dodgy but that was my second flash and im starting to get to grips with stuff now. Glad you liked it

If you plan to read out long streams of dialogue..

...I suggest you either split it up into smaller clips, or script down what you are going to say. You sounded quite hesitant - I counted 11 "umm's" and "err's" in the Basic section alone, and I didn't count stutters or short silences. I can estimate that you will probably "umm" and "err" a further 30 times, but It'd take a long time to count...

The tutorials were quite useful and were certainly in-depth, but I did at times find my self dozing off during some of the parts.

The diagrams were fairly useful in most cases though.

luminousnerd responds:

LOL! Well, thanks..I think at least for the most part. I'll be breaking it up for the next few.

Not enough action...

For a movie with the word samurai in it, a lot of people are going to be disappointed with this movie.

The drawings were OK, but there was no real animation to go with it (except for the samurai's fringe.
The voice acting wasn't very good either.

When you get round to doing the follow-up, add plenty more action.
It looks promising, but in it's current form, it's just too slow and boring.

Ultra-Samurai responds:

It is promising ^_^ the seires will be great

For a madness parody/tribute...

...this is definitely better than some of the crap that gets submitted onto NG almost every day.

Unlike some madness tributes, the violence was quite funny, the characters actually looked like the originals and the sound was suitable for the movie. The ending was especially funny.
At least you didn't compromise violence for style.

As far as i'm concerned, its quite close in quality to Krinkels' Madness - but as they say the original is the best.

KoRRupt responds:

Ofoucrse.. original is always best :) Tributes just pay tribute to the author.. because Krinkels is the man! Thanks for watching and reviewing!

Good idea, but...

I had high hopes for this movie, during the first few seconds. A few seconds later (20 actually), it was over.

It was a good idea, but the sound was poorly optimised - 2.4mb is too big a file for what this movie was.

The little animation the movie had wasn't very good either, comprising mainly of simple object tweening. So if you do make another one, either add some more animation on the characters, or just stick with the graphic novel style.

And add some dramatic voiceacting aswell.

TypeAliasHere responds:

i no its crap but is was my first flash
but i cant update it cos i reboted my computer and forgot to make a back file
