After I heard the music...

...I wanted to commit suicide aswell.

It was quite funny though, and simple.

If you plan to read out long streams of dialogue..

...I suggest you either split it up into smaller clips, or script down what you are going to say. You sounded quite hesitant - I counted 11 "umm's" and "err's" in the Basic section alone, and I didn't count stutters or short silences. I can estimate that you will probably "umm" and "err" a further 30 times, but It'd take a long time to count...

The tutorials were quite useful and were certainly in-depth, but I did at times find my self dozing off during some of the parts.

The diagrams were fairly useful in most cases though.

luminousnerd responds:

LOL! Well, thanks..I think at least for the most part. I'll be breaking it up for the next few.

Hmm...

...your German friend (who made this) obviously has serious issues. Perhaps you do as well for submitting it for him/her.

I'm guessing that you are not American, but the WTC attack was just the beginning of the continuing trauma people are now facing. I'm sure your German friend would certainly change his/her tone if a German man was beheaded on tape, executed on tape or killed and dragged through the streets by a car for a mile - like the American Contractor, the Italian hostage or British businessman.

This looks like it was made in a hurry, and it shows - making it even more surprising that it actually made it past judgement. Terrible graphics, terrible sounds and completely inappropriate. Must be the bulk Anti-American voting...

In the meantime I suggest you get your fiend "pr0nstar" to seek psychiatric help for finding the WTC attack funny and making this wretched turd of a movie...And remind him just who got "owned" in WW1 and WW2.

Well Done...

Well done Knox - another high quality flash animation, with professional voice acting.

Well done Wolvie for "kompressing" this movie too - Coming in at just under 5000 Kb it is just as hefty a file as every other of your (Knox's) movies.

Well done Knox's fans for giving it the full 10s - even in interactivity, and ensuring that this movie will no doubt score high in the top 5 - if not the daily feature.

...Don't get me wrong though - other movies like Mortal Kombat & Resident Evil were funny, but this is getting old. The voice acting in this one wasn't great, but there were funny moments, especially with some of the dialogue.

I'm glad I Waited for this movie to load...

...The drawings are especially good, and even though you compressed both the pictures and the sound, I don't think it really matters - It sounds alright to me. You made a good choice of music, and you did well to animate to it, but its a shame the filesize is so big...

Boring to the Nth degree.

Boring, pointless and ugly.

I recognise the ninja pictures from one of "Livecorpse's" old movies, and they stand out like a sore thumb against your drawings...

Sound was equally poor and everything just dragged on.

Not as good as the "VG style" version, but...

...a lot better than the "NG Style" version.

Graphics were OK, the sound was quite low quality, and the idea isn't that new anymore.

But it's still better than "Hey Ya - NG Style"

Not enough action...

For a movie with the word samurai in it, a lot of people are going to be disappointed with this movie.

The drawings were OK, but there was no real animation to go with it (except for the samurai's fringe.
The voice acting wasn't very good either.

When you get round to doing the follow-up, add plenty more action.
It looks promising, but in it's current form, it's just too slow and boring.

Ultra-Samurai responds:

It is promising ^_^ the seires will be great

Nothing that hasn't been done 100 times better

Basically a slideshow of images from the internet.

The Only thing it has going for it is the good music, although SOAD didn't do that song (and why would they!).

Very useful if...

...you want to draw rotating 3d shapes.
Not very useful if you want to draw more complex objects - even people or vehicles etc.

But I suppose if you don't have any 3d flash program, this can come in helpful...
