Well...

...I was bracing myself for some "hard rocking" (not forgetting some haleluyah) when I saw this title in the portal, and I was pleasently surprised.

Simple and effective animation, suitable music and good for a quick laugh!

A glorified e-card...

The graphics and animation were fine, and the sound effects fit well but there wasn't really much else to it.

This is not the 10th best movie on Newgrounds

This is not the 10th best movie on Newgrounds (as of 26/11/06).

And compared to the other ones (the AshfordPride ones at least) this one drags on too much.
But it did give me a few laughs, which is the most important thing, and there was some good use of the limited sprites.

Good piece of video.

The graphics were obviously limited to the blood effects and the interface, but you did a good job with them and you made sure the resolution was fairly high.

The sound and music was quite appropriate, being from a FPS, but I think you could have done better with the voices. Of course, on the other hand, the use of Duke Nukem soundbites gives the piece a more fictional aspect, but if you were able to find some willing voice actors, you would have had the opportunity to be even more original. The sound effects were spot on, though.

I rated 8 on violence, because, although there is a lot of blood splatter, I would have rated 10 if there were any dismemberments (although I might have seen one - I'm not sure.)

Overall, It was an interesing piece, and you did a good job with what you had on hand, and I look forward to the next one.

And why does everyone keep saying the music is from Halo. It's the Silo level from Goldeneye 64 - and of that, I'm fairly sure (why, a quick look through the audio credit's audio portal submissions can help prove this.)

I'll never vote for the BNP...

...and portraying the BNP as some sort of rescue service is ignorant to say the least - they hate any Black or Asian British citizens aswell. Would they be "saved" from the asylum seekers?
If you think the BNP is going to save Britain, you've got another thing coming.
The graphics and the animation was O.K, and it could have done with music, but I just can't agree with what you are trying to say.

As far as Foamy movies go, not bad...

Same old style and graphics, maybe wearing a bit thin after around 60 episodes. You managed to change the style of Germaine from the first episodes, so why can't you give the series another change.
The voice acting is actually quite good for foamy, but the whole Arab/Indian/Middle-Eastern stereotype isn't very accurate. Call centers in India are practically the same as in America or Britain, except there are a few more air-conditioning units.

You seem surprised that people employed in India, socialise in India and who live in India cannot speak good English. They're just trying to get a job, and If call centres were based in the country they are used in, the business couldn't pay the workers a pittance. On the other hand it can be annoying when phoning up about travel details in your county, and getting put through to an office halfway across the world, so maybe you should blame the companies that sack all of their employees in their office in their home country and employ some everyday Indian Civilians who are looking for work and have just been given a crash course in speaking English and dealing with disgruntled customers.

While I can relate to your obvious problem with Indian call centres, I can't understand why it should be a bad thing if thousands of Indian people are employed by call centres.

If I had a penny for every time someone...

...made a LOZ music video flash, I'd probably have about 5 pence (rough estimate)
5 LOZ music videos are more than enough and this one doesn't even stand out amongst the crowd.
The animation was a bit crap, the song earned it a few sound points (and humor points), but because I've seen flash so similar, there really is no style to it.

Shame on you though for originally thinking SOaD made the song (you did change the music credits later)

Additionally (while not trying to sound like a Nintendo boffin) Ganon refers to his pig form, while the "Ganon" you had in the flash is Gannondorf.

Horray...

...I remember watching the first one a while ago, and was quite impressed. When I saw this one, I was slightly dissapointed you did't improve the drawings, but the comedy and style made up for that. In fact I laughed quite hard at the main joke.

ashens responds:

Improve the drawings? Never! It wouldn't be as funny.

Nice...

I remember seeing this on the B3ta newsletter about one or two months ago.

The graphics and the style was quite nice, and the voice acting was very good, although the lip synching was a bit off.

The subject matter, however may be interpreted as racist - I have no problem distinguishing racism. (Expect a few reviews from angry, self-righteous kids).

I didn't, however, know that you had made any other cartoons with the cactus character, and will be sure to check them out.

Brilliant...

... Little much wrong with this (except the sound levels), but I'm glad I waited for it to load up.

The graphics were pretty good, the voice acting (especially with the leprechaun) was very good, and the humour top notch.

HappyHarry responds:

cheers mate, I know the sound was dodgy but that was my second flash and im starting to get to grips with stuff now. Glad you liked it
